Paul began his Buddhist studies in 2013, inspired by Ven. Sarah Thresher. Under the guidance of Geshe Tashi Tsering, Paul completed Geshe-La’s two-year ‘Foundation of Buddhist Thought’ course in the UK.

Immediately upon completing the FBT course, Paul relocated to Nalanda Monastery, graduating from the five-year residential Basic Programme taught by Geshe Jamphel Gyaltsen in the summer of 2022. During this period, Paul was fortunate to study Buddhist logic, philosophy and debate under the guidance of Geshe Graham Woodhouse.
